This GOLDEN LAGER, brewed with our friends and fellow LAGER LORDS, was constructed to satisfy a thirst for a changing of the season. Brewed with a base of Barke Pilsner malt, as well as a sprinkling of various German specialty malts including Munich and CaraRed, the resultant beer is deep gold in color, has a touch more malt character than our standard German Pils, as well as a slightly high ABV (5.7%), to comfort your palate in these winter months. A soft but present bitterness and great noble aroma was accomplished hot side with a blend of our finest Hallertau Mittelfrüh & Czech Saaz throughout the boil. The sum of these parts, after many moons of lagering, is an infinitely drinkable, naturally carbonated, seasonal lager, with notes of honey, fresh bread, and forest floor.
