The Bruery Melange 10

Pours a rich, 1.5 finger light cream colored head with moderate retention. Beer is a cloudy brown, muddy even. Lacing is spotty and stringy with little stick but with huge, oily legs that cling and coat the glass. Very good for the style.

Nose is bourbon, molasses, tobacco, chiles, and a nice cinnamon spiciness right at the end. Deep, rich and robust.

Opens chile sweet and spiciness. Chocolate, molasses, brown sugar and booze in the middle with hints of wood, tobacco and heat. Spicy with some cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, booze and more chile at the end and finish. Sweet, rich caramel and molasses in the aftertaste. Like a better Hunahpu's.

Full bodied with low carbonation. Smooth and rich in the mouth and goes down hot and spicy. Finish is accented with a lingering, sticky sweet aftertaste. Excellent.
