An absolutley stunning "Springbank Single" distilled in 1979 and aged for 12 years in a single Sherry butt before bottling in 1992 at cask strength for the old Sams Wine Warehouse in Chicago. The subsequent release for Sam's was sealed with a foil capsule as the hard wax used for this bottling was brittle (as shown in the photo).
