Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1998

This wine displays a dark ruby color and a complex nose of cassis, coffee, cocoa, and allspice. It is rich and full on the palate with a long, fruit-filled finish. This intense wine will continue to improve until 2013 given proper cellaring.

This was a vintage when Mother Nature tested us a bit. We feel that we have risen to the challenge and produced elegant, rich wines with smooth, fully developed characters.
