Siembra Alteno Anejo
Siembra Alteno Anejo
Distilled to 55% ABV with the agave fibers, or bagasse, left in the still during the first distillation and then proofed to a historical 46% ABV, Siembra Alteño Blanco represents the friendship and shared efforts of two giants of tequila, David Suro and Carlos Camarena, to recreate and preserve the traditional flavors, aromas, textures, and terroir of the Los Altos region in Jalisco’s highland plateau. The result is beautiful, complex, bold—even challenging, and an immediate cult classic.
Distilled twice using traditional copper pot stills with fibers (bagasse) included in the first distillation. Big and complex with fruit-forward aromas of roasted sweet potato, lime zest, pineapple skin, rambutan, fennel seed, hot metal, and a hint of toasted cinnamon. The palate follows through boldly, bursting with tangerine, squash blossom, a hint of sweet sausage, petrichor, and waves of white flowers.
