The new spirit enters #3 char barrels at 114 proof before aging for two decades in cooler sections of the distillery's brick warehouses. Significant evaporation, known as angel's share, exceeds 50 percent during this long maturation, resulting in very low yields, often fewer than 120 bottles per cask. This 20 Year Old expression achieved a notable 99/100 score at the World Spirits Championship. It is presented unfiltered, proofed down to 90.4 (45.2% ABV) for approachability.
