This Old Taylor 86 Proof was bottled in 1973. It was exported for the Italian market, as Italians loved bourbon in those days. A lot of the juice was made to be exported to Europe. This bourbon whiskey was made during the golden days of the National Distiller’s owned Old Taylor distillery, named after Kentucky Colonel E.H. Taylor. The distillery was an actual castle! The brand was sold to Beam in the 1980s and is now owned by Buffalo Trace.
