The Skyside 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon builds, lifting out of the glass with hints of fresh tobacco and olive evolving into aromas of bright fruit including blueberry, blackberry and plum. The richer mid-palate fills the with silky chocolate, fruit and spice flavors and expands into a finish with integrated, lingering tannins.
The 2019 winter brought plenty of rainfall to the North Coast followed by a cooler spring. As the weather warmed into summer, we ensured our vines remained balanced. Leading into harvest, we saw exciting flavor development in the berries allowing us to harvest at a range of ripeness levels to build complexity into the blend.
