A single malt whisky from the Hombo Shuzo Mars Shinshu Distillery, which is located at the foot of Kiso-komagatake 798 metres above sea level, the highest peak in the Central Alps of Japan (Nagano Prefecture (Shinshu)). The 2022 Edition is vatted mainly from malt aged in bourbon and sherry barrels and port casks.
Fruity notes of apricot and banana, followed by an elegant and deep aroma reminiscent of apple tea. Dried plums, followed by the gentle sweetness of acacia honey. Smooth and pleasant, with a hint of ripe persimmon.
