The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big wine, but it is also surprisingly approachable for a young Kongsgaard Cabernet. Bright and vibrant, 2019 offers up copious dark red/purplish fruit, mocha, wildflowers, and pomegranate, with a firm spine of tannin that gives the wine its energy and shape. 2019 will be positively stellar with a bit of time in the cellar. Actually, it already is. Best after 2025.
