Here it is a knowing farewell to Distillery Manager Willie Cochrane, whose retirement this bottling marks. This beautiful 22 year old bottling is bottled without chill filtration or colouring, and was finished for a period in Pinot Casks. It also sits at a cask strength of 47%, and low cask strength bottlings such as this are often known for their intensity of flavour. The whisky is stupendous, with a fantastic red grape note through, accompanied by flavours of ginger, chocolate, vanilla and tropical fruit.
