From Chicago-based Judson & Moore, whose first release was bottled in 2022, this one is made with heirloom variety Bloody Butcher red corn, which comprises 75% of the mashbill (along with 15% rye and 10% malted barley. Creamy on the nose, soft scents of butter and herbs. The palate is flavorful and honeyed, with melted chocolate and chocolate-covered raspberries. Not terribly long on the finish but some notes of sweet orange emerge.
