Goldschmidt Single Vineyard Selection Yoeman Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2011 1.5 Liter Magnum
1.5 Liter Magnum

Goldschmidt Vineyards is a Californian wine producer most notable for its single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Alexander Valley and Napa Valley. It was established in 1998 by Nick and Yolyn Goldschmidt.

The Goldschmidt portfolio consists of a range of single-vineyard wines, each of which has a corresponding wine called "PLUS", which comes from the best parcels in the vineyard. The portfolio includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines named after Goldschmidt's three daughters: Chelsea, Hilary and Katherine. These grapes are grown in vineyards situated in Dry Creek Valley, Oakville and Alexander Valley, respectively

Deep garnet; aromas of dark plum, black cherry, cassis, nutmeg, vanilla and dark chocolate. Shows concentrated black cherry, blackberry, plum, cassis, spice, tobacco, and chocolate flavors. Rich and full-bodied, nice wood framing, sumptuous texture, supple tannin finish. My favorite vineyard from an exceptional vintage.
