Domaine Viret Les Colonnades Vin de France Rouge 2016

This 2016 "Les Colonnades" vintage is a great red wine from the Rhône Valley made from a selection of old Grenache vines over 100 years old and Mourvèdre.

This is a deep, rich and smooth wine with a lovely minerality,  to be enjoyed today after a long decanting, with grilled or roasted red meats, and which offers excellent aging potential, at least until 2036-2038.
