Quite distinctive and expressive on the nose with notes of apricot, orange zest, wool, smoke, iodine and some wood. Super salty. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and firm with very nice density. Not overwhelmingly acidic but has good lift and drive. Fantastic fruit similar to the nose together with some wool and spice. On the powerful side but has a great balance and is in no way heavy or heavy-handed. Excellent use of oak with lush, ripe yet tangy fruit and strong minerality make for a beautiful savory-styled wine that is a delight to sip on its own but performs also really well at the table.
