Baltieri Primo Rosso Veneto 1997

Baltieri Primo Rosso Veneto 1997

The Baltieri Andrea winery is located in Mizzole, a small, ancient village of just a thousand souls, nestled in the hilly area northeast of Verona. Established in 1970, the company began operations with the purchase of an old farmhouse and the first seven hectares of land, three of which were planted with vineyards. Since then, the company has significantly expanded with the addition of new vineyards, some acquired and restructured, others newly planted.

In 1989, the original core of the company was joined by a second one in Ronchi: a picturesque hill nestled in the greenery of the Valpantena. This hill had been home to vines for centuries, but for such a tradition to be fully expressed, it needed to meet a new culture, a desire to gain experience, and a corporate philosophy built on science, creativity, and rationality. The Podere dei Ronchi, now Azienda Agricola Baltieri Andrea, covers an area of 19 hectares, of which 12 are vineyards and 5 are olive groves.
