Domaine Harmand Geoffroy La Perriere Gevrey Chambertin Premier Cru 2018

Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy is a well-regarded wine producer based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy. The domaine holdings cover nine hectares (22 acres) of vineyard, including plots in the Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru site, as well as in four Premier Cru climats: Champeaux, Lavaux Saint-Jacques, La Perrière and La Bossière. The domaine focuses exclusively on Pinot Noir.

Martine and Gérard Harmand inherited the family domaine in 1980, and subsequently passed the responsibilities of the estate on to their son Philippe.

The domaine's vines are on average 50 years old, although the oldest vines belonging to Harmand-Geoffroy are 85 years old. The vineyards are maintained and farmed using the lutte raisonnée approach, or "reasoned struggle", which involves traditional cultivation methods and minimal chemical use.
